Zac Brown Band concerts are known for being amazing and over-the-top, which made me wonder: how much does Zac Brown Band make per concert?

Zac Brown Band makes roughly $1 million per show. In 2019, the band was ranked as the second-highest-paid country group after Luke Bryan. Their total earnings for 2019 were estimated at $38.5 million.

And 2020 aside, they are almost always touring.

Their highly anticipated and hard-driving blend of southern rock ‘n’ roll and the old-school country is expected to top the highest-grossing charts once again.

How much is the Zac Brown Band worth?

Billboard Boxscore reported that Zac Brown Band pushed their 2019 summer tour’s earnings to $29.5 million over 27 dates. The band’s total worth stands to be at least $50 million. 

Of course, they’re on tour now, having taken most of 2020 off.

The highlight of their last world tour was a two-night run at Boston’s Fenway Park, which grossed over $5.5 million by the end, selling more than 71,514 tickets.

This was enough to get Zac Brown Band their highest-grossing engagement ever. The tour’s final gross head came around to be a total of between $35-50 million.

Zac Brown Band’s commercial success is a result of the band’s hard work, excellent music, and constant touring.

Over the years, the band has earned a plethora of awards and accolades. In addition, they go on to be counted as the biggest-earning country bands in history.

How much do Zac Brown Band members get paid?

Zac Brown Band members get an equal share of the concert, merchandising, and performance royalties. Songwriting royalties, however, are only divided up among the members who contributed to that specific song.

So, for example, ZBB’s most well-known song is “Chicken Fried”.

That song alone has over 403 million streams on Spotify, to name just 1 platform. But the songwriters on that song only include Zac and his songwriting partner (who isn’t in the band), Wyatt Durrette.

So while the rest of the band makes a little when that song gets played, Zac and Wyatt get a lot more as the songwriters.

In real money, the average revenue for performance royalties for streaming is about $.005.

So with “Chicken Fried” having 403 million streams, that’s about $2,000,000 that the band gets to split just for that 1 song.

But Zac and Wyatt, as the songwriters, get closer to $.091 per stream. So that means in addition to Zac sharing in that above $2 million figure, he and Wyatt also get to split $36 million.

And again, that’s just for that 1 song! 

But that streaming figure is also all streams since it was added to Spotify. It’s also important to note that every band’s contract with a record label will be different. But that should give you a rough idea.
